Yi Zhao wins NSF CAREER award

Yi Zhao, Ph.D., an assistant professor of Department of Biomedical Engineering was recently awarded The National Science Foundation’s highly competitive peer accolade, the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award for his research, “Integrated Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System for Cellular Mechanotransduction Studies”.

The CAREER Program is a Foundation-wide activity that offers the National Science Foundation's most prestigious awards in support of junior faculty who exemplify the roleof teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research within the context of the mission of their organizations.
