BME junior receives Bonenfant Scholarship

Biomedical Engineering junior Margaret Cron is the recipient of the 2014 Paul Anthony Bonenfant Scholarship on behalf of the Optical Society. Her award of $8,000 will be used to fund her research in Biomedical Optics at the University of Science and Technology of China. The Foundation asks that Margaret blog about her research and travel experience three times each week while she is in China. The Foundation's website will broadcast her blog, along with profiles of her and Ohio State. While abroad, Margaret hopes "to expand [her] knowledge within the field of optics and to gain valuable research experience" and "to learn by exploring a new culture and environment." Congratulations, Margaret, and best of luck!
