The College of Engineering, along with Engineers’ Council, hosts the Annual Student Organization Awards each spring. The event recognizes outstanding engineering and architecture student organizations and their advisors. All engineering and architecture student organizations recognized by the college are eligible for consideration.

The 5th Annual Student Organization Awards was held at the Center for Design and Manufacturing on Thursday, April 4th. The Ohio State University, Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) student chapter was awarded the 2019 College of Engineering Outstanding Student Organization Award!  In a very competitive decision by a panel of faculty and staff judges, BMES received the award for their excellence in many areas of activities including mentorship, industry relations, K-12 collaborations, campus and community service, and professional development. BMES also won honorable mentions for the Outstanding Partnership with Industry Award and the Outstanding Community Service Award. With their awards, BMES won a total of $1200 from the College.

Great job, BMES!
