Caitlin and Ameya Defend Dissertations

Despite the unusual circumstances surrounding the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak, Caitlin and Ameya were able to successfully defend their dissertations via Zoom. After ~40 min presentations and public questions, their committees met with them privately for additional rounds of questioning. In the end, both successfully defended! Congratulations to Caitlin and Ameya on officially becoming doctors!

Caitlin and Ameya were two of Dr. Leight's first doctoral graduate students and we will be sad to see them go. Following graduation, Caitlin will be looking for an academic or industry research position. Ameya has already accepted a job in Boston as a strategy consultant at the biotech-focused consulting firm, Health Advances. Good luck to both of them on their future endeavours!
