Congrats to BME PhD student Cemantha Lane and former postdoc Amara Greer-Short, who are co-first authors on a new paper out in International Journal of Obesity! The study was collaboration with the Stanford lab and identifies a relationship between CaMKII-dependent phosphorylation of the cardiac sodium current Nav1.5 and risk for atrial arrhythmias in high fat fed mice.
