Jane Yu awarded BME Undergraduate Research Award

Congratulations to graduating senior and Hund lab member Jane Yu who was awarded the Department of Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Research Award! Jane joined the lab as a freshman and has been an integral member ever since, first as a volunteer and then research assistant. This past semester she successfully defended her Undergraduate Honors Thesis entitled "Fibroblast and cardiomyocyte specific TREK-1 deficiency in heart failure." She will begin medical school in the fall - Way to go, Jane!
