BME students recognized at Davis Heart and Lung Research Day

Three students within the Department of Biomedical Engineering recieved awards for their research at the 8th Annual Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Day on October 9th. Vasudha Shukla, advised by Samir Ghadiali, Associate BME Professor and Pulm, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Associate Professor, won first-place in the post-doctoral category. Natalia Higuita-Castro, also advised by Ghadiali, received second-place in the graduate student category. The first-place award in the graduate student category was awarded to Patric Glynn, advised by Assistant BME Professor Thomas Hund
 
The Annual DHLRI Research Day features both graduate and undergraduate students, along with postdoctoal fellows and research faculty and staff.
