Dr. He Awarded Over $5.1 Million to Support Research

Dr. Xiaoming He, associate professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME), and his colleagues have been recently awarded three new research grants totaling over $5.1 million. Two are 5-year R01 grants with the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the third is a 3-year grant from the National Science Foundation. “This level of success is a result of his focused efforts in novel research, his impactful publications, and careful preparation of grant applications,” said Dr. Richard Hart, chair, BME.
